PERSONAL INJURY IMAGING COORDINATION

Organized Imaging Support for Personal Injury Cases

MARS Healthcare coordinates diagnostic imaging for personal injury cases across participating facilities in Illinois. We help attorneys, authorized case representatives, referring physicians, patients, and imaging facilities maintain a clearer administrative pathway from referral intake through scheduling and documentation follow-up.
PERSONAL INJURY CASE SUPPORT

One Coordinated Path for Imaging

Personal injury cases often require communication among several parties. MARS Healthcare serves as an administrative coordination point, helping reduce unnecessary delays and repeated follow-up while preserving each party’s professional responsibilities.

We coordinate administrative workflows; we do not provide legal advice, determine liability, make clinical decisions, or perform imaging examinations.

WHAT MARS COORDINATES

  • Referral and imaging-order intake
  • Patient scheduling and appointment communication
  • Partner-facility identification based on location and availability
  • Authorization or approval tracking when applicable
  • Financial-clearance coordination under agreed arrangements
  • Preparation-instruction communication
  • Case-status updates to authorized parties
  • Report and documentation routing through approved secure methods
  • Billing-document follow-up based on established terms

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

01

Initial Inquiry

An attorney, authorized case representative, physician, or approved partner contacts MARS Healthcare regarding the requested imaging service.

02

Secure Case Intake

Required case and patient information is collected through an approved secure process. Protected health information should not be submitted through the general website inquiry form.

03

Imaging Coordination

MARS identifies a suitable participating facility and coordinates appointment availability, documentation, and necessary administrative steps.

04

Appointment and Status Communication

The patient receives appointment and preparation information. Authorized parties receive appropriate nonclinical case-status updates.

05

Documentation Follow-Up

Imaging reports, billing documents, and other case-related materials are routed according to applicable authorizations, agreements, and facility procedures.

CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES

MARS Healthcare coordinates the administrative workflow. Referring physicians remain responsible for medical orders and clinical decisions. Imaging facilities retain responsibility for patient screening, examination protocols, imaging performance, interpretation, reporting, licensure, and regulatory compliance. Attorneys and case representatives remain responsible for legal case management.

Case acceptance depends on the requested service, geographic availability, participating-facility capacity, required documentation, and mutually accepted financial terms.

ATTORNEYS PORTAL

A dedicated portal for authorized attorneys and case representatives is planned to support case-status access and approved documentation workflows.
